Redmi K50 series has been rumored for quite some time. Under the new lineup, Xiaomi is likely to release the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50 Pro+, and Redmi K50 Gaming smartphones. According to a recent leak, the Redmi K50 series will be released in the first quarter of 2019.

The Redmi K40 lineup, which includes the Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro+, and Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, will be replaced by the new Redmi K-series handsets.


The following gadgets in the Redmi K-series will be introduced by the end of February 2022, according to tipster Digital Chat Station on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The Redmi K50 series, according to the source, would contain four variants that are comparable to the Redmi K40 series.

The rumored processors for the forthcoming Redmi smartphones were also leaked by Digital Chat Station. The MediaTek Dimensity 7000, MediaTek Dimensity 9000, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors are expected to power the next Redmi K-series flagship smartphones. According to a recent leak, all four Redmi K50 models could launch with MIUI 13 pre-installed.


Xiaomi claims to be launching all of its Xiaomi 12 Series smartphones at the same time.

Previous rumors stated that the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+ might contain an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Redmi K50 is said to have a 48-megapixel primary sensor on the back, while the Redmi K50 Pro is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary sensor. 


The Redmi K50 Pro+ model is said to include a 108-megapixel primary back camera and 120W fast charging capability, while other variations are said to have a maximum of 100W fast charging support.
