The Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition has only been released in China, and there is no word on when it will be released in other markets. The Oppo Reno 7 series was released in China in November, however it has yet to be released internationally.

The price of the Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition is the same as the regular Oppo Reno 7 5G. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 31,800), the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 35,400), and the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 35,400 and roughly Rs. 38,900).

A tiger emblem is carved adjacent to the back camera module on the Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition, which comes in a special color - Velvet Red.

Oppo said in a Weibo post that it engraved the Tiger insignia on the rear panel because 2022 is the Chinese Year of the Tiger.
