Motorola Teases The Big Cover Display On The Razr (2022)

Tomorrow, Motorola will introduce the Razr (2022), also known as the Razr 3, a foldable phone that will have a significant advantage over Samsung's impending Galaxy Z Flip 4. The former has a considerably more functional cover display that is noticeably bigger. According to rumors, it will be somewhat larger than the Flip 4's 2.1-inch diagonal measurement. In its most recent phone teaser, Motorola draws attention to this feature of the new Razr.

The Razr 3 was featured in a post by the Lenovo-owned business on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The upper half of the device's rear is depicted in the image.

We can see the rear camera configuration, button locations, and most crucially, the large cover display, much more clearly.

You can utilize the rear camera to capture selfies, manage music playing, view notifications, look at the calendar, use navigational maps, and much more. Motorola promotes it as a fully functional smartphone screen that enables you to finish tasks fast without having to unfold the device.

They were lacking in many areas, including the processor and the camera.

With the 2022 model, the firm seems to have corrected these issues. In the clamshell foldable market, the Razr 3 seems to be a more complete offering that can compete with Samsung's Flip series.

The Motorola Razr (2022) will reportedly include an inbuilt 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, according to what is already known. According to speculations, the phone might contain up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is powered by Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU.

In this aspect, Samsung's Flip series of products fall well short of expectations. Of course, the latter is competent to do the majority of those duties. However, the screen is too small to use comfortably.

Motorola has offered a sizable outside display since the release of the original Razr foldable variant in 2019. The Razr and Razr 2 (Razr 5G) weren't even close to being flagship-level gadgets, though.

A 50-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens are the two cameras on the rear. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel camera.

These specifications are, to put it mildly, quite promising. Just one more day will pass until the Razr 3 becomes a reality. Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come in the near future. On August 10, the Korean company releases two new foldable, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
